What precautions are Box of Veg taking in regards to the coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic?

As a food business, Box of Veg takes hygiene and food safety extremely seriously. Measures to mitigate the spread of the virus include;

  • Accepting online orders and payments only via BoxofVeg.com

  • Wearing of face coverings and gloves when handling all produce including during delivery

  • Contactless delivery - our delivery personnel will knock, place your Box of Veg down, and step back 2m

 

What is Box of Veg's cancellation policy?

Due to the perishable nature of our produce, and to ensure Box of Veg customers only receive the freshest and best veg, all orders are only picked and packed prior to delivery. Therefore, once your online order with Box of Veg has been confirmed, we will require 2 full working day's notice prior to your confirmed delivery date to cancel your order. 

Monday Delivery > Cancel by 5pm Wednesday

Tuesday Delivery > Cancel by 5pm Thursday

Wednesday Delivery > Cancel by 5pm Friday

Thursday Delivery > Cancel by 5pm  Monday

Friday Delivery > Cancel by 5pm Tuesday

You will find your confirmed delivery date in your Box of Veg order confirmation email.

To cancel, please send us an email to orders@boxofveg.com with your order number referenced in the subject line. One of our team will confirm via return once your order has been cancelled and payment refunded.

 

Can I change plans at any time?

Yes, all our subscription plans are fully flexible. We however require 2 full working days notice prior to your next delivery date.

What if I don’t like what I get in my Box of Veg?

We source a large selection of seasonal produce and would be happy to substitute items for our subscription members. Drop us an email with your requirements.

 

Do Box of Veg deliver in my area?

At present we currently only offer delivery to the below postcode areas. However, we're working on securing a reliable courier partner to offer our veg boxes nationwide.

Can I choose my delivery day and time?

Unfortunately not as we utilise route planning software to minimise our CO2 impact and optimise delivery schedules. 

 

If you're not going to be at home on your scheduled delivery day/time then our driver will leave your veg box in your designated safe place. Alternatively if you're going to be away on holiday you can suspend/cancel your subscription in advance.

 

Is all your packaging recyclable?

Yes! As an environmentally conscious company we only use recycled, recyclable or biodegradable packaging.

Our labels are made from Grass Paper and therefore are fully biodegradable.

Our tape is made from Kraft Paper and can be recycled along with your cardboard box.

Your box is also fully reusable therefore if you leave it out on delivery day our driver will collect.

 

Can I collect my veg box?

Unfortunately not at this time however we offer free local delivery with all our boxes!

 
 

What if I'm not going to be in on delivery day?

Not to worry...our friendly delivery team will leave your box of veg in your pre-designated safe place.

 

When placing your order you have the option to add delivery instructions. We recommend to include a safe place and/or a neighbour whom would be willing to accept on your behalf.
